My favorite Christmas cookie recipe. So good!
Ingredients
1/2 C (1stick) soft butter
1- 3 oz pkg. soft cream cheese
1/2 C confectionery sugar
1 egg
1 TBSP grated orange rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 - 6oz pkg of chocolate chips (semi sweet)
1. Heat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheets
2. Beat butter and cream cheese until light & fluffy.
3. Add sugar and egg and continue to beat until smooth.
4. Blend in orange rind and vanilla.
5. Stir in flour and salt.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Drop by teaspoon full on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 min. Do not overcook! Cool on wire racks. Makes 2 doz.
